(E) Power Management IC: This device monitors the operation status of the battery. It accurately calculates and indicates the battery's capacity with each charging, re-charging or using of the battery.

(F) Protection IC for Li-ion Battery: This device detects and protects the Li-ion battery from the damage caused by overly high voltage, results from over-charging, and overly low voltage, results from over-discharging.
